Who I Am

My name is Sofia Castiglione I’m 19 and I live in a little town near Imperia, Liguria.
Nails are one of my biggest passions.
Since I was a child, my mother helped me putting nail polish on my nails, and when I was older I tried experiment by myself.

Over time I bought a lot of nail polishes and now I have 2 drawers full of them.
When I was 14 I saved my money to buy one of the thing that I really wanted the most: an UvLamp.
Then I started creating my first designs with gel polish and it was a totally mess!

I was attending secondary school and I had to choose what I would like to do in the future.

I was stressed because there was nothing I was interessed in, especially university.
One day I had the flyer of my academy in my hands and I thought that I could have done a job out of my biggest passion.

With time all things seemed to have a shape: I wanted to be a Nail tech.
I worked all summer in order to study and now I’m here, to tell my story.

Obviously I’m not yet a pro but I wanted to share my experience. Maybe someone like me is stressed about the future and my words can help him.
This job often is not considered like a real one. People see it like an hobby.

Actually it requires education, sacrifices and it makes you earn money.
I think that if someone has a passion, it should invest to make a dream come true.

Purple nails blog

During my formation I attended to classes that talked about social networks and blogs.
I discovered that Blogs are a useful ways to communicate your knowledges and share them with people that are Interessed in that topic.
I choose that name because I love Purple! 😍😍
