How to do a perfect infill

Welcome back on my blog!

Today there will be a more informative article, I will tell you about How to make a perfect infill.

Let’s begin!

What’s this

I start by explaining what is refill.

The infill is that work that is performed on the nails that have regrown after the 3 hypothetical weeks.

The aim is to rebalance the structure in order to prevent breakage or damage to the nail plate.

Today I will talk about the refill that does not present problems but only the regrown nail.

Questions to the customer

First, there are three basic questions to ask the customer.

The first is “do you want to keep the length?” .

The second is “Would you like to change shape?”

The third is “what decoration do you want?”.

It is very important to ask these questions at the beginning so that you can know how to get started.

If the customer wants to keep the length, you can start to remove the color and a good part from the product. If, on the other hand, you want to shorten them to make the job faster and easier then you must first reduce the length and then continue.

After the length You have to know if you want to keep the same shape or change it in order to see if with the present length it is possible to achieve what the customer wants.

Then it is very important to ask for the type of decoration. If by chance our customer wanted to make a deep French then it is important to know it first because you have to remove almost all the product and then recreate the wall otherwise you continue to work in the same way.

Removal

Before starting to remove the color it is important to disinfect both the client’s and the operator’s hands and then push the cuticles back to avoid possibly touching the skin.

You can decide whether to work with the e-file or the file. in any case you have to start by shortening the nail.

Then the existing product must be lowered, but it must not be completely removed so as not to damage the natural nail but above all not to waste too much product. We do not have to recreate an apex from the beginning, we already have the product present and we only have to rebalance the structure.

I file also near the sidewalls.

At this point we find ourselves with a lowered structure and therefore to be safer we use a light grain cutter tip or a 240 file to camouflage any step that has been created during the regrowth.

Nail preparation

At this point that we have lowered the whole structure we apply the primers. The nail prep can be applied also on the whole nail while the primers, the acid and the non-acid one, You must only put them on the natural nail.

We are interested in improving the adhesion between natural nails and the product. Where the product is already present, the lifts will most likely not be created.

I apply the base.

New product

Now the time has come to apply a new product. I recommend using a fairly self-leveling gel but not too much so that it does not drip onto the skin.

After applying I remove the sticky layer and file the structure in the usual way.

Color

As a normal reconstruction we apply color and create what the customer asks for.

Let’s apply the oil and it’s done!
