How to maintain a full set during time

Hello everyone!

Today new article. I want to give you advice and explain how to maintain beautiful reconstructed nails during the hypothetical 3 weeks, or more.

Let’s begin!

Use your nails gently

Probably for those who have never had long nails and suddenly if they find them 2 centimeters, at first it will be difficult to learn how to manage them and live with them.

Initially it could take a lot of hits, but that is not a problem because if a reconstruction is done well, following the correct canons, there will be a greater chance that it will not break.

The problem is when we use reconstructed nails as if we don’t have them.

Don’t get me wrong, you can do everything, however you need to have some more precautions

The important thing is to use the nails gently and not as tools.

Avoid using them as levers, and if you have doubts about how to live with long nails, read this article where I give you some advice on how to manage them.

Chemical products

We women, young or more mature, sooner or later we will have to deal with chemicals, which can be those for cleaning the house, for laundry or I don’t know, chemicals used for particular jobs.

If you known that you will use them often, it is better to wear gloves to maintain clarity and integrity.

Aggressive products could compromise the reconstruction, causing top coat opacity or maybe lifting.

Hands in your mouth

This applies both to onychophagic that are people who have their hands in their mouths constantly, but also to people who do not have this habit.

Maybe you are nervous or thoughtless and bring your nails to your mouth.

Always in order to maintain a perfect reconstruction over time, I recommend you not to fiddle and nibble your nails.

However products like gel and acrylic are hard and you could cause damage to your teeth or otherwise ingest small parts of the product and it is not healthy.

Don’t tear your nails

Another key thing to keep your nails healthy is not to tear your nails.

The temptation could arise if, as I said before, we have our hands in the mouth, but even if there are small lifts.

Never tear off the lifts or raised nails, in order not to eliminate important layers of your nails, but also to facilitate the work of the operator.

If you tear off one or more nails, then you will have to rebuild them, taking the process longer than expected.

Respect the Refills

Last of all, I think the most important thing.

To avoid lifting and breaking nails, it is very important to respect the refill times.

Every 3-4 weeks it is important to return to the operator to rebalance the apex and thus ensure the health of your nails.

Obviously there could be people like the onychophagics who must show up in the salon every 15 days, because it is always better to keep them under control.

If these times are not respected, there is a risk of presenting mainly lifts that could cause water infiltration, and in any case create the ideal territory for the growth of bacteria.

Furthermore, the more the nail grows, the more the apex advances and does not protect the stress point well, this can translate into broken nails, both only the product but also the surface, and I assure you that it is very painful.

Today’s article comes to an end. I hope that with these tips you will be able to better maintain your reconstructions both to preserve the health of your nails but also to facilitate and make your nail technician happy.
